At EdgeConneX, our mission extends far beyond providing global infrastructure solutions. While supporting our customers remains at the core of what we do, delivering state-of-the-art infrastructure involves more than advanced technology—it’s about doing the right thing for our people, communities, and planet. That’s why we live by our Customers, People, and Planet mission, which shapes every decision and action.
This mission is woven into our company’s DNA and fuels our growth as a global infrastructure provider. Caring for our customers means delivering innovative, reliable solutions that empower them to grow and succeed. Building a positive company culture means fostering a workplace where giving back is encouraged and celebrated. Caring for the planet means every step toward progress is balanced by our responsibility to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
Let’s take a closer look at how EdgeConneX is growing in one of our U.S. markets: Atlanta. We are building a 324MW hyperscale data center campus to support the Southeast’s growing demand for scalable and resilient digital infrastructure.
Shining a Light on Community Support
December 2024 brought incredible opportunities for EdgeConneX to give back to the communities where we live and work. Our Atlanta-based team embodied the spirit of our mission through volunteering efforts and partnership with local organizations, demonstrating that meaningful impact starts close to home.
During the Feeding GA Families Christmas Gift and Toy Giveaway, the EdgeConneX team joined fraternity and church members to help bring holiday cheer to children and families. From setting up to distributing gifts, our volunteers ensured the community felt supported during the festive season. In addition, our donation provided gifts to 180 children. Feeding GA Families expressed heartfelt gratitude, and the event was a great success, providing both gifts and a sense of togetherness and joy.
Our team also participated in the Union City Toy and Food Drive, ensuring our contributions directly benefit needy families. With a turnout that reflected the strength of community collaboration, our team helped secure toys and food items for children and their families. The event highlighted the power of collective action and the importance of extending support where needed most.
“Seeing how our volunteer efforts positively impact the community is incredibly rewarding. Participating in events like the Feeding GA Families Giveaway and the Union City Toy and Food Drive has strengthened our connection to the people we serve. We are excited to continue building strong partnerships with local organizations to drive meaningful change. Together, we’re creating a future where progress and purpose go hand in hand.” – Tobe Aguocha, PhD, Senior Director, Project Management Americas – EdgeConneX
The team will also participate in the rescheduled MLK Day volunteer effort, which was postponed due to inclement weather. Upcoming activities include three cleanup locations, a block party with food and music, and a community mural.
“We would also like to thank the Mayor of Union City, Vince Williams, for his invaluable partnership with EdgeConneX. He has been a strong supporter of our development efforts and a collaborator in our volunteering initiatives.” – continued Dr. Aguocha
Our Atlanta team is already planning 2025 events in the region, including Georgia Cities Week, Spring Clean-up, back-to-school initiatives, breast cancer walk, and a Veterans Day ceremony. These engagements exemplify our commitment to tackling challenges and building stronger communities.
