Mr. Maitre is a seasoned strategy and finance executive with 15+ years of experience in the communications and digital infrastructure industries.
As SVP of Corporate Development and Strategy at EdgeConneX, Pierre is responsible for accelerating global growth through mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, partnerships, and the company’s long-term strategic initiatives.
Before joining EdgeConneX, Pierre was Verizon’s Head of Corporate Strategy Development from 2017 to 2021. In this role, he developed and led the execution of strategic priorities for Verizon’s senior leadership, including strategic M&A and organic growth strategies such as fixed wireless access, OTT video, and new product development.
Before Verizon, Pierre worked for 10+ years as a strategy consultant in the telecom and digital infrastructure industry. During his consulting tenure, Pierre assisted strategy clients and financial sponsors with growth strategies and M&A.
Pierre earned his MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business in 2014 and his BSBA in Finance & International Business from Georgetown University in 2007.
