Joe is a highly experienced financial and operational leader with experience in private equity, investment banking, fixed income, and corporate strategy. As the Chief Financial Officer for EdgeConneX, Joe brings over 20 years of experience to the senior leadership team. He is responsible for the company’s corporate financial strategy and operations, including capital markets, financial planning and reporting, investor relations, accounting, tax, treasury, and risk management. He is also responsible for identifying and pursuing strategic investments that drive long-term growth, capitalizing on his deep understanding of the company’s financial landscape and industry dynamics.
Joe has been instrumental to the formation, continued growth, and globalization of EdgeConneX, initially as an investor and member of the Board of Directors and since joining the company in 2013. He has led numerous transactions, including completing many successful equity capital raises and acquisitions and arranging over $10 billion of debt financing for the business. Before EdgeConneX, Joe was a Principal at TDF Ventures, focusing on investments in digital infrastructure, software, and technology services. Joe also helped run corporate development at BSG, where he was involved in all aspects of global M&A, corporate finance, and FP&A. Additionally, Joe held roles in an investment banking group and with a Chicago-based private equity firm focused on Internet-based services, technology, and telecommunications.
Joe graduated from the University of Virginia with a BS in Finance and Management.
